Skyrim
From OblivioWiki
Skyrim is the home country of the Nords. It is bordered by Morrowind to the east, Cyrodiil to the south, Hammerfell to the southwest, and High Rock to the west. In Skyrim there are many wolves and barbarians, but they seem to live in peace. Many Nords emigrated to Bruma during the Imperial invasion, because it is the closest to Skyrim and it resembles their frosty homeland the closest.

[edit] Solitude (Haafingar)
Solitude is the northernmost city in all of Tamriel, and is also an important port, dealing, for instance, in timber and salted cod. The notable Bards' College is located in the city.
[edit] Windhelm
A former capital in the First Empire, Windhelm these days most notably serves as a base for Imperial troops. During the War of Succession, the city was sacked. The palace of the Ysgramor dynasty can be found in the Old City.
[edit] Throat of the World
The second highest mountain in all of Tamriel after Morrowind's Vvardenfell, Throat of the World is pivotal in Nord mythos. The Nords believe that it is on this mountain that men were first made. Pilgrimages from all over Tamriel venture to climb the seven thousand steps to High Hrothgar on the mountain.
