Lake Arrius Caverns are near the northern shore. Lord Rugdumph's Estate is northeast of the lake. The Dragon Stone is by the northeastern tip. Fanacas is situated east of the lake. Desolate Mine is southwest from the lake.

Lake Arrius is situated in northeastern Cyrodiil, to the north of Cheydinhal. It lies at the foot of the Valus Mountains. The lake is divided into two parts, split by a small waterfall.

There are many Clouded Funnel Caps and Motherworts growing around the lake
